POLA, Oriental Mindoro – A joint manhunt operation led by the Pola Municipal Police Station resulted in the successful arrest of a wanted person on August 3, 2026, in Barangay Zone 2, Pola, Oriental Mindoro.
The operation was carried out by personnel of Pola MPS, in coordination with the 3rd Platoon, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) and the 404th Regional Mobile Force Battalion 4B (RMFB 4B), as part of the Philippine National Police’s continuing campaign to locate and apprehend wanted persons.
He was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for violation of the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 (Republic Act No. 9003) under Criminal Case No. 25-06892, issued on July 15, 2026, by Hon. Judge Jackie Crisologo Saguisag, Presiding Judge of the Metropolitan Trial Court, National Capital Judicial Region, Branch 67, Makati City, with a recommended bail of ₱1,000.00.
The operation was conducted peacefully and in accordance with established police procedures, with the accused being informed of his constitutional rights and the provisions of the Anti-Torture Act while the entire operation was documented using alternative recording devices to ensure transparency and accountability.
The arrested individual is currently under the custody of the Pola Municipal Police Station for documentation and other legal requirements before being turned over to the issuing court for proper disposition.
