The newly elected officials of the Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) of the Pola Municipal Police Station (MPS) formally took their oath of office during a flag-raising ceremony held on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the Municipal Building in Bayanan, Pola, Oriental Mindoro.

The meaningful event was spearheaded by PMaj Florante M. Sugian II, Chief of Police of Pola MPS, and was attended by municipal employees and members of the local police force. Mayor Jennifer M. Cruz administered the oath-taking of the newly appointed council officials.

The MAC is tasked with supporting the Philippine National Police (PNP) in enhancing effective governance, ensuring transparency, and strengthening community engagement. In his message, PMaj Sugian expressed his gratitude to the new officials for embracing the responsibility in the service of the town.

“The success of the police force is made stronger through the support and participation of the community,” PMaj Sugian emphasized.

The inauguration marks a renewed partnership between the PNP and the citizens of Pola, as both work hand in hand towards peace, accountability, and progress.
