In line with the celebration of National Children’s Month 2024, the personnel of Pola Municipal Police Station (Pola MPS), under the supervision of PMAJ FLORANTE M SUGIAN II, actively participated in activities aimed at promoting the welfare and protection of children.

Carrying the theme, “Break the Prevalence, End the Violence: Protecting Children, Creating a Safer Philippines,” Pola MPS highlighted its commitment to child safety by displaying a tarpaulin in front of their station at Brgy. Zone 1, Pola, Oriental Mindoro. This serves as a public reminder of the importance of protecting children and fostering a violence-free environment for their growth and development.

In addition to this initiative, Pola MPS personnel also took part in various events as judges for a singing contest, a Draw-and-Tell contest, and a quiz bee—activities designed to engage and empower children while showcasing their talents and creativity.

PSSg Jay Lacerna, PCR PNCO of Pola MPS, emphasized, “National Children’s Month reminds us of our duty to protect and guide our children, ensuring their safety and well-being in all aspects of life.”

Meanwhile, PMAJ Florante M. Sugian II, ACOP of Pola MPS, reaffirmed their commitment, stating, “We at Pola MPS are dedicated to fostering a safe and nurturing environment for our children because they are the future of our community.”

Pola MPS remains steadfast in its advocacy to create a safer and more nurturing environment for the youth, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are upheld.
