Pola, Oriental Mindoro – October 21, 2024

As part of the initial screening process for the Philippine National Police (PNP) Attrition Quota 2024, Pola Municipal Police Station conducted a thorough inspection of tattoos and a body mass index (BMI) check for aspiring police officers. A total of 19 applicants participated in the screening held at Pola MPS, under the supervision of PMAJ FLORANTE M SUGIAN II, the Officer-in-Charge (ACOP) of Pola MPS.

The screening ensures that applicants meet the strict standards of the PNP, including the policy on visible and inappropriate tattoos, which can lead to disqualification. The BMI check further assessed the physical fitness of each applicant, a critical component in determining their suitability for the force.

PMAJ SUGIAN emphasized the importance of these screenings, stating, “We are looking for individuals who possess both the physical fitness and the dedication to serve with discipline and integrity.” The process helps identify those who can uphold the values and responsibilities expected of a police officer.

This screening is part of the PNP’s effort to fill vacancies through the Attrition Quota 2024, ensuring that only the most qualified individuals advance in the recruitment process. Pola MPS remains committed to supporting these efforts and strengthening the police force.
