Pola, Oriental Mindoro – A wanted person facing charges of Robbery with Violence Against or Intimidation of Persons and Act of Lasciviousness was arrested during a warrant operation conducted by the Pola Municipal Police Station on June 1, 2026, at approximately 1:29 p.m.
The operation was led by the Pola Municipal Police Station in coordination with personnel from the Valenzuela City Police Station, Regional Intelligence Unit–National Capital Region (RIU-NCR), Intelligence Group (IG), Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) Oriental Mindoro, 404th Maneuver Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB), and the 3rd Platoon, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC).
The suspect was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Robbery with Violence Against or Intimidation of Persons under Article 294 of the Revised Penal Code, docketed as Criminal Case No. 374-V-26. The warrant was issued by Hon. Orven Kuan Ontalan, Presiding Judge of Branch 285, National Capital Judicial Region, Valenzuela City, on May 4, 2026, with bail recommended at ₱100,000.
Authorities also served a second Warrant of Arrest for Act of Lasciviousness under Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code, docketed as Criminal Case No. 109280. The warrant was issued by Hon. Teresita Asuncion Magsino Lacandula-Rodriguez, Presiding Judge of the Metropolitan Trial Court, Branch 81, National Capital Judicial Region, Valenzuela City, on April 30, 2026, with bail recommended at ₱36,000.
Following the arrest, the suspect was informed of the nature of the charges against him and was advised of his constitutional rights under the Miranda Doctrine and the provisions of the Anti-Torture Act of 2009 (Republic Act No. 9745) in a language he understood. He is currently under the custody of the Pola Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper legal proceedings.
