CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — The Pola Municipal Police Station once again affirmed its reputation for excellence after receiving the Plaque of Recognition as 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, marking its 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 2026 and adding to a growing list of distinctions earned under the leadership of PMAJ FLORANTE M SUGIAN II.

The recognition was conferred during the Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony on February 10, 2026, at Camp BGen Efigenio C. Navarro, headquarters of the Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, in Calapan City.

Pola MPS was adjudged Best Municipal Police Station for its exemplary achievements that significantly contributed to the attainment of PRO MIMAROPA’s mission and vision, while further strengthening the credibility of the Philippine National Police as the country’s premier law enforcement agency.

The plaque was awarded by 𝐏𝐁𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐉𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐎 𝐒 𝐁𝐀𝐃𝐔𝐀 𝐉𝐫., 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐑𝐎 𝐌𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐀.

Adding to the town’s proud moment, the Pola Local Government Unit also received the 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝, 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐉𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐌. 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐳 Jennifer Mindanao Cruz. The recognition highlights the LGU’s steadfast partnership and sustained support for police programs, community safety initiatives, and good governance.

The dual recognition manifests the principle that public safety and service excellence are best achieved through unity, leadership, and community trust.
