During the flag-raising ceremony held on October 6, 2025, in front of the Municipal Hall in Barangay Bayanan, Hon. Jennifer M. Cruz, Municipal Mayor of Pola, personally turned over several Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) units to the Pola Municipal Police Station.

The donation forms part of the local government’s continuing initiative to strengthen public safety, enhance monitoring capabilities, and maintain peace and order throughout the municipality.

Through the installation of these CCTV cameras, authorities are expected to respond more swiftly to incidents and improve crime prevention and surveillance in key areas of Pola.

PMAJ FLORANTE M SUGIAN II, Chief of Pola MPS, expressed his deep gratitude to Mayor Cruz for her consistent support of the local police’s programs and initiatives. According to him, the new CCTV units will be a significant asset in strengthening operational efficiency and enforcing measures that safeguard the community.

In her message, Mayor Cruz reaffirmed the local government’s commitment to maintaining peace, safety, and order, while also encouraging the public to actively cooperate with authorities in building a safer and more progressive Pola.

The event was attended by municipal employees, Pola MPS personnel, and other local officials, symbolizing the shared commitment of the local government and law enforcement to a secure and well-protected community.
