Pola, Oriental Mindoro — The Pola Municipal Police Station once again demonstrated its commitment and compassion for the youth through the successful conduct of the “POLENYO Kids” activity on August 24, 2025, at 2:00 PM. The program was spearheaded by PLT GIOVANNI SELDA, Operations Officer of Pola MPS, in partnership with life coaches led by Pastor Manuel L. Labao.

Children from Barangays Casiligan, Malibago, and Maluanluan, together with their parents and barangay officials, actively participated in the event. The initiative, considered one of the best practices of Pola MPS, aims to nurture the welfare of children, encourage stronger community participation, and instill values and discipline at a young age.
The activity began with a solemn prayer followed by a meaningful storytelling session that offered lessons and inspiration to the young participants. The children also enjoyed a series of games and contests designed to promote friendship, teamwork, and discipline.
To further strengthen community ties, the program also included a feeding activity for the children, parents, and barangay officials in attendance. In addition, Pola MPS donated Bibles to the three barangays, reinforcing the moral and spiritual foundation of the community.
For the attendees, the activity was more than just a source of fun — it served as an inspiration and guide for the younger generation. The event highlighted how the partnership among the police, barangay, and church can foster a stronger bond within the community in pursuit of a safe, orderly, and values-driven environment for the children of Pola.
