June 10–16, 2025 Operational Highlights
By: Pola MPS PCR
In a week that marked the celebration of 127 years of Philippine independence, the Pola Municipal Police Station, under the leadership of PMAJ FLORANTE M SUGIAN II, proudly demonstrated that patriotism is best expressed not only in ceremony, but in sustained service to the people.
On June 12, 2025, Pola MPS joined the Local Government Unit of Pola, government agencies, civic groups, and residents in commemorating Araw ng Kalayaan. From the parade to the solemn wreath-laying and flag-raising ceremonies, the police stood in full support, not only to secure the activity, but to symbolize unity in honoring the country’s freedom and the sacrifices behind it.
Even as the nation paused to remember its past, the station remained active in shaping the future. In line with the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela campaign, Pola MPS personnel extended manpower support to help prepare schools for the incoming academic year—cleaning classrooms, assisting in minor repairs, and securing safe learning spaces for students.
In a heartwarming display of collaboration, Pola MPS also partnered with the Bongabong Masonic Lodge for a school supply distribution drive. Hundreds of learning materials were handed out to young students, especially in far-flung areas, to help them return to school with confidence and readiness.
This week’s accomplishments reflect the mission of Pola MPS: to protect, to serve, and to lead through action. Whether upholding peace, fostering education, or honoring national heritage, the unit continues to bridge duty and compassion for a safer, more united community.
