Pola, Oriental Mindoro – In a continued effort to strengthen community partnership and public safety initiatives, the Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) for Calendar Year 2025 convened on March 21, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Pola Municipal Police Station, Zone 1, Pola, Oriental Mindoro. The meeting was presided over by PMAJ FLORANTE M SUGIAN II, Chief of Police.

The session opened with an invocation and a call to order led by Pastor Edwin Abetria, setting a solemn and focused tone for the discussions. Following this, PCpl Jerome V. Fiestada, PSMU PNCO, facilitated participants’ acknowledgment and quorum declaration. He also provided an overview of the MAC members’ profiles to highlight their contributions and roles in the council.

A key agenda of the meeting was the review of the Terms of Reference, ensuring that members remained aligned with their mission to support law enforcement efforts and community development. In recognition of exemplary service and dedication, PMAJ SUGIAN II awarded certificates of commendation to deserving MAC members.

The meeting concluded with an open forum, where members actively engaged in discussions, sharing insights and recommendations for improving public safety programs and collaborative projects within the municipality.

PMAJ SUGIAN II adjourned the meeting at 10:30 AM, expressing his gratitude for the council’s unwavering support and commitment to community service. The successful gathering underscored the continuous efforts of the Pola MPS and MAC to foster a safer and more secure environment for the people of Pola.
