Pola, Oriental Mindoro – Personnel from POLA MUNICIPAL POLICE STATION, under the supervision of 𝗣𝗠𝗔𝗝 𝗙𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘 𝗠 𝗦𝗨𝗚𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗜𝗜, 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗘𝗙 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗘, joined the 1𝘀𝘁 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 (𝗡𝗦𝗘𝗗) on March 13, 2025, in Brgy. Maluanluan, Pola, Oriental Mindoro.

The drill, led by the 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗞 𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘 (𝗣𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠𝗢) 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗥. 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕 𝗚𝗮𝗵𝗼𝗹, 𝗣𝗚𝗗𝗛-𝗣𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠𝗢, included POLA FIRE STATION under SFO4 Ricky Bautista, MDRRMO POLA, the 3RD PLATOON OF PMFC, and faculty and students of DOMINGO YU CHU NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL. PLTCOL VIRGILIO R. MADRONIO, DPDA FOR ADMINISTRATION OF ORMIN PPO, served as one of the evaluators.

Before the drill, PDRRMO briefed participants on the “𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗞, 𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗” technique and proper evacuation protocols. At the sound of the alarm, participants executed the procedures, followed by an orderly evacuation and headcount. Evaluators then provided insights for future improvements.

Police officers play a vital role in disaster response, ensuring public safety, order, and coordination during emergencies. PMAJ SUGIAN highlighted this, stating:

The NSED reinforces community awareness, inter-agency coordination, and the crucial role of law enforcement, ensuring Pola is ready and resilient in the face of disaster.
