Pola, Oriental Mindoro – Personnel of the Pola Municipal Police Station (MPS), under the leadership of PCPT BERNIE T ORTEGA, Officer-in-Charge, responded to an alleged theft incident on August 7, 2026.

Upon receipt of the report, responding police personnel immediately proceeded to the area. The individual involved had already been apprehended by barangay officials and was subsequently turned over to the responding police officers.

The individual was brought to the Pola MPS for proper documentation and appropriate disposition. The circumstances surrounding the incident are being handled in accordance with existing laws, rules, and procedures.

The prompt response highlights the importance of police-community cooperation and the active participation of barangay officials in addressing reported incidents and maintaining peace and order.

PCPT Ortega emphasized the importance of community vigilance and encouraged residents to immediately report suspicious activities through proper channels.
