Personnel of the Pola Municipal Police Station, led by PLT MAY LORD SUMALINOG, OPERATIONS PCO, actively participated in a coastal clean-up activity conducted on Saturday morning on January 24, 2026, at Sitio Kabilang Ibayo, Barangay Batuhan, in support of environmental protection and the preservation of coastal cleanliness.

The activity was attended by Grade 10 students of Pola Catholic School, members of BYAHE (Batuhan Youth Advocates for Health and Environment), youth volunteers, and community members, highlighting strong youth and community involvement in environmental advocacy.

The coastal clean-up aimed to raise public awareness, particularly among the youth, on the importance of responsible stewardship of the environment and the protection of marine resources.

Through its participation, Pola MPS demonstrated its continued commitment to community-based and environmental programs as part of the police force’s advocacy in promoting public safety, order, and environmental protection.

The activity served as a reminder of the importance of collective action in safeguarding coastal areas from pollution and other environmental threats, ensuring their long-term sustainability and benefits for future generations.
