𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲: Pola Municipal Police Station

The Pola Municipal Police Station arrested a theft suspect following the immediate response to a reported theft incident that occurred on January 15, 2026, at around 10:15 PM in Barangay Bayanan, Pola, Oriental Mindoro.

Upon receipt of the report, responding personnel of Pola MPS immediately proceeded to the area. The suspect was apprehended by concerned citizens and subsequently turned over to police authorities. Initial investigation disclosed that the suspect unlawfully entered a residential house.

Recovered from the suspect were one (1) pair of branded shoes valued at Php 45,000.00 and cash amounting to Php 4,000.00. The suspect was duly arrested and informed of his constitutional rights and the Anti-Torture Law.

The suspect is currently under the custody of Pola MPS together with the confiscated items. Appropriate charges for Theft are being prepared for filing before the proper court.

In a statement, PMAJ FLORANTE M SUGIAN II, Chief of Police, said, “Ipinapakita ng insidenteng ito ang kahalagahan ng maagap na pakikipagtulungan ng komunidad at ang mabilis na pagtugon ng pulisya. Patuloy ang Pola MPS sa pagbibigay ng proteksyon at pagpapanatili ng kaayusan at kaligtasan ng ating mamamayan.”

The Pola MPS encourages the public to remain vigilant and to promptly report any suspicious activities to authorities.
