Pola, Oriental Mindoro — The Pola Municipal Police Station (MPS), under the leadership of PMAJ FLORANTE M SUGIAN II, provided strict and extensive security assistance during the successful conduct of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) games held on October 3 and 6, 2025, at the Pola Gymnasium.

The security operation was carried out in coordination with the Police Explosives Control Unit, Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB), and the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) 3rd Platoon, following directives from the Pola MPS chief to ensure the safety, peace, and order of the entire event.

Also joining the effort were the Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams (BPATs), barangay officials, and other force multipliers, who volunteered their time and service to support the police in maintaining public safety.

Throughout the two-day sporting event, the overall situation remained peaceful and orderly, with no untoward incidents reported—a result of early coordination, effective deployment planning, and the visible presence of police personnel and partner security units.

Officials from the local government and MPBL organizers extended their gratitude to Pola MPS and its partner units for their professionalism, dedication, and unwavering service to ensure the safety of the public.
