As part of its continuous advocacy for community cooperation and environmental protection, the Pola Municipal Police Station, under the leadership of PMAJ FLORANTE M SUGIAN II, Chief of Police, participated in the International Coastal Clean-Up led by Hon. Jennifer M. Cruz, Municipal Mayor of Pola, in partnership with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) headed by OIC Meynardo C. Axalan, on September 20, 2025.
The activity was attended by representatives from various national government agencies, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), barangay officials, private organizations, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, as well as teachers and staff from DYCNHS Maluanluan.


Held at Barangay Calima, Pola, Oriental Mindoro, the event was part of a global campaign to promote the protection and cleanliness of the world’s oceans and coastlines.
The initiative aimed to preserve the environment, protect marine resources, and strengthen unity and public participation in environmental protection programs — embodying the true spirit of bayanihan and collective responsibility for a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable community.
