To strengthen youth participation in meaningful community activities, the Pola Municipal Police Station joined the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan spearheaded by the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT).

As part of the celebration, a two-day Youth Camp was held on August 9–10, 2025, in Pola, Oriental Mindoro. The camp gathered KKDAT members from various barangays in the municipality, featuring programs, games, and discussions designed to raise awareness, promote health, and build stronger connections between the youth and the police.

The PNP delegation was led by PLT MAY LORD F SUMALINOG, Deputy Chief of Police of Pola MPS, who not only served as a guide and mentor but also as a “big brother and sister” figure to the participating youth. Through active engagement, the police demonstrated genuine care and support, fostering camaraderie and trust.

With its lively celebration and meaningful activities, the Youth Camp highlighted the important role of the youth as partners in nation-building, not only as citizens of today but also as leaders of the future. The program stood as a testament to the belief that indeed, “the youth are the hope of the nation.”
