Swift Response by Pola MPS Leads to Immediate Arrest in Robbery Incident

Pola, Oriental Mindoro – The Pola Municipal Police Station acted promptly and decisively in response to a reported robbery incident that occurred on the evening of August 1, 2025, in Barangay Maluanluan, Pola, Oriental Mindoro.

At approximately 8:56 PM, Pola MPS received an emergency report via the 911 hotline regarding an alleged robbery in progress. Responding personnel were immediately deployed to the location to validate the report and take necessary action.

Upon arrival at the scene, the responding officers were able to intercept and apprehend the suspect who was attempting to flee. A body search was conducted, leading to the recovery of items confirmed to be taken from the victim. The suspect was promptly informed of his constitutional rights, including the provisions of the Anti-Torture Act, in a language he fully understood.

The arrested individual is now in the custody of the Pola MPS, and proper documentation is underway. The assigned investigator is currently preparing the required documents for the filing of appropriate criminal charges.
