Oriental Mindoro — July 9-11, 2025 | Demonstrating its commitment to proactive governance and inter-agency collaboration, personnel from Pola Municipal Police Station joined two key LGU-led events aimed at strengthening environmental protection and disaster preparedness in the province.

On July 9, 2025PEMS Reynold Fabroa represented Pola MPS in the annual meeting of the Oriental Mindoro Sagip Kalikasan (SAKAL) Task Force at CENRO Socorro, Brgy. Pasi II, Socorro. The multi-agency task force, formed in 2019, includes the NBI, Philippine Army, PNP, DENR, and local government units. Discussions focused on cutting permit policies and the resolution on the proper turnover of apprehended forest products to CENRO.

Meanwhile, PLT MAY LORD F SUMALINOG attended a three-day seminar-workshop on the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (MDRRMP) 2026–2028, held at the Filipiniana Hotel, Calapan City. The activity emphasized a shift to proactive disaster management under Republic Act 10121, especially in light of climate change and rising disaster risks.

Through active participation in these initiatives, Pola MPS reinforces its role as a key partner in both environmental protection and disaster resilience. The station remains steadfast in promoting safety, sustainability, and community welfare.
