In line with its commitment to youth empowerment and drug prevention, personnel of the Pola Municipal Police Station, under the supervision of PMAJ FLORANTE M SUGAIN II, Chief of Police, conducted a lecture on PROJECT READY (Resistance Education Against Drugs for the Youth) at Calima National High School in Barangay Calima, Pola, Oriental Mindoro, on July 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM.

The lecture was led by PCpl Pamela S Arcayos, Assistant PCR PNCO, and was attended by Grade 11 and 12 students. The initiative is part of the Philippine National Police’s preventive education efforts to promote anti-illegal drug awareness among students from Grades 1 to 12.

PROJECT READY is a flagship program of the PNP designed to equip the youth with knowledge, life skills, and core values to help them resist drug use and avoid risky behaviors. It covers essential life lessons such as following the law, resisting peer pressure, building self-confidence, and making responsible decisions, all contributing to the collective goal of a drug-free Philippines.

Through this activity, Pola MPS continues to strengthen its partnership with the community, especially the youth sector, by providing meaningful interventions that support the PNP’s mission of a safe, empowered, and drug-resistant society.
