In a decisive law enforcement operation, joint elements of various police units successfully apprehended the No. 1 Regional Level Most Wanted Person of PRO CALABARZON at around 10:42 AM on July 5, 2025, in Brgy. Panikihan, Pola, Oriental Mindoro.
Led by personnel of the Pola Municipal Police Station, in coordination with RIUB PIT ORMIN, CIT ORMIN, RID MIMAROPA, PIU ORMIN, 3rd Platoon 1st PMFC Panikihan Pola, 404th RMFB, RIU 4A, and PIT Quezon, the operation was conducted by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Murder under Criminal Case No. 2024-904. The warrant was issued by Hon. Allan C. Lobo, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 59, Lucena City, dated June 23, 2025.
The apprehended individual, a 41-year-old male from Tiaong, Quezon, has been on the run and is listed as the top regional most wanted person. His identity is being withheld pending formal proceedings.
The arrested person was informed of his constitutional rights and the Anti-Torture Act in a language known and understood by him. The arrest was also documented using an Alternative Recording Device (ARD) in compliance with Supreme Court guidelines on the use of Body-Worn Cameras (A.M. No. 21-06-08-SC).
The suspect is now in the custody of Pola MPS for documentation and will be turned over to the court of origin for appropriate legal action.
