In a continued effort to strengthen grassroots public safety and community partnerships, the Pola Municipal Police Station conducted its monthly Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams (BPATs) meeting on July 4, 2025, at 8:00 AM, held at Pola MPS, Brgy. Zone I, Pola, Oriental Mindoro.

The meeting was facilitated by Pat Rachell J Nolos, Assistant WCPD PNCO, and Pat Aleah R Fruelda, Assistant PCR PNCO, and was attended by active BPATs from various barangays in the municipality.

Key matters discussed during the meeting included the implementation of curfew hoursuniform updates, and updates regarding the upcoming BPATs Training Refresher Course. These discussions aimed to ensure that BPAT members remain equipped, informed, and aligned with the operational protocols of the PNP, particularly in supporting peacekeeping initiatives at the barangay level.

A highlight of the meeting was a message of appreciation delivered by PMAJ FLORANTE M SUGIAN II, Chief of Police of Pola MPS, who expressed his gratitude to the BPATs for their steadfast support and active involvement in maintaining peace and order, particularly during the week-long Sab-Uyan Festival celebrated in the municipality. Their assistance during the event significantly contributed to its peaceful and orderly conduct.

“Our BPATs are a vital force multiplier in maintaining peace and security in our communities. Your continued support during events like the Sab-Uyan Festival proves how strong police-community partnership can truly make a difference,” said PMAJ Sugian.
