Pola, Oriental Mindoro — The Pola Municipal Police Station, led by PMAJ FLORANTE M SUGIAN II, actively participated in the successful conduct of the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) held on June 19, 2025, at Tagbakin Elementary School.

The activity was carried out in partnership with the Pola Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Pola. The drill aimed to enhance disaster preparedness among students, teachers, and the wider community in responding to emergencies such as earthquakes.

Participants practiced the standard “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure, followed by an organized evacuation drill and a scenario-based simulation designed to identify gaps and improve overall disaster response.

Thanks to the coordinated efforts of all participating agencies, the activity was deemed a success, reinforcing the commitment of Pola MPS and its partners in promoting a culture of safety and resilience within the community.
