Pola, Oriental Mindoro — A historic chapter of the Sab-uyan Festival 2025 unfolded as the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Regular Season Gameday was successfully held on June 21, 2025, at the Pola Gymnasium — drawing hundreds of passionate basketball fans from across the province and beyond.


The Pola Municipal Police Station, under the leadership of PMAJ FLORANTE M SUGIAN II, spearheaded the security coverage before, during, and after the event. Ensuring the safety of players, officials, and spectators, Pola MPS was supported by force multipliers, barangay tanods, augmentation personnel from the Provincial Headquarters (PHQ), and the Provincial Explosives and Ordnance and Canine Unit (PECU), which conducted K9 clearing operations and regular presence patrols.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of all security forces, the event recorded zero incidents and proceeded in a peaceful and orderly manner — a clear testament to the town’s capability to host large-scale activities safely.

- Game 1: Pangasinan Heatwaves won by default against Bacolod Tubo Slashers via game forfeiture.
- Game 2: Rizal Xentromall Golden Coolers dominated with a 37-point win over Imus Bandera GJ Braderhood.
- Game 3 (Main Game): The Mindoro Tamaraws thrilled their home crowd with a hard-fought victory against the Muntinlupa Cagers, defending their court with pride and resilience.
