Pola, Oriental Mindoro — The National and Local Elections (NLE) 2025 were successfully and peacefully conducted in the Municipality of Pola, according to the official assessment released by the Pola Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by Chief of Police PMAJ Florante M. Sugian II.

From pre-election preparations to Election Day itself, and up to the transmission of votes and return of vote-counting machines (VCMs) to the COMELEC office, comprehensive and stringent security operations were implemented by the police and partner government agencies.

The full force of Pola MPS and Oriental Mindoro Police Provincial Office, in coordination with the 3rd Platoon, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), Special Action Force (SAF), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Pola Fire Station, Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams (BPATS), Civilian Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU), and other force multipliers, worked together to secure every polling precinct, monitor voting centers, and address any potential threats to public safety.

Prior to the election, a series of checkpoints, area assessments, COMELEC checkpoints, and public information campaigns were carried out to ensure orderly conduct and full preparedness of all personnel and resources.

On Election Day, May 12, 2025, while there were minor voting delays due to technical issues involving some VCMs, the overall voting process remained orderly and efficient, thanks to the rapid response of ground personnel.

Following the close of voting, transmission and transportation of election paraphernalia were closely monitored, including the secure and proper return of VCMs to the COMELEC Office—without any reported incidents or disruptions.

The election concluded with zero election-related incidents (ERIs)—no suspected, validated, or non-validated ERIs—underscoring the effective implementation of security protocols by all involved agencies. To further improve future elections, Pola MPS suggested placing greater focus on the technical reliability of VCMs to avoid any voting delays.

From the presidential and senatorial contests down to the local races, newly elected leaders have been proclaimed—leaders expected to shape the future of the nation.
