In a proactive effort to ensure a peaceful and orderly election, the Pola Municipal Police Station, under the leadership of PMAJ Florante M. Sugian II, successfully carried out a roaming public address (PA) system operation ahead of the May 12, 2025 National and Local Elections.
The initiative, part of the broader campaign of the Oriental Mindoro Police Provincial Office (PPO), aimed to disseminate crucial election-related reminders from the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) — including the enforcement of the liquor ban and strict warnings against vote-buying and vote-selling.
Mounted loudspeakers made rounds across various barangays, particularly in remote communities with limited access to mainstream media, to ensure that vital information reached every citizen. Simultaneously, the police encouraged the public to report any election-related violations, reinforcing their advocacy for clean, safe, and peaceful elections.
This undertaking reaffirms the Pola MPS’s vital role as an active partner of the community in upholding the integrity of the electoral process.
