Pola, Oriental Mindoro – The 𝐏.𝐎.𝐋.𝐄.𝐍.𝐘.𝐎. 𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 2025 took young learners on an exciting and educational journey into the world of firefighting! Held on March 8, 2025, at the Brgy. Malibago Gymnasium, Pola, Oriental Mindoro, this month’s session was spearheaded by Pola MPS personnel, led by 𝐏𝐌𝐀𝐉 𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄 𝐌 𝐒𝐔𝐆𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐈𝐈, 𝐂𝐎𝐏, with the generous sponsorship of 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐚 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐅𝐎4 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚. The event was also strongly supported by 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐨 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚 and the barangay officials, who actively participated in ensuring a successful and engaging session for the children.

Firefighters introduced the children to their important role in the community and shared fire safety tips tailored for kids. The session also featured hands-on demonstrations, where the children learned 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿, explored the 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺, and even got to 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗸’𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲! The interactive activities ensured that the kids learned valuable fire prevention skills and had a fun and memorable time.

To cap off the day, the children enjoyed a delicious meal, wrapping up the event with smiles and new knowledge that could one day save lives.

The Protection Of Life, Empowerment & Nurturing Youth’s Obedience (P.OL.E.N.Y.O.) Kids program is a 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗣𝗦 designed to teach children discipline, good values, and essential life skills. By engaging young minds in interactive and meaningful activities, the program strengthens positive character development while fostering a closer relationship between law enforcement and the community.

With another successful session completed, Pola MPS remains committed to nurturing responsible and well-informed young citizens, ensuring that learning is both impactful and enjoyable.
