Pola, Oriental Mindoro – During the flag-raising ceremony on Monday, February 10, 2025, Mayor Jennifer M. Cruz honored the dedication and bravery of Pola Municipal Police Station personnel by awarding Certificates of Commendation to those who played a crucial role in a successful search warrant operation earlier this month.
The commendation was given for Press Release No. 020125-01, detailing an operation conducted on February 1, 2025, in Sitio Munting Bakas, Brgy. Maluanluan, which resulted in the arrest of a drug suspect and the seizure of illegal substances and firearms.

Under the leadership of PMAJ FLORANTE M SUGIAN II, Chief of Police, Pola MPS personnel, in coordination with PDEA 4B and other Provincial and Regional Units, executed Search Warrant No. SW-557-25A, issued by Judge Erwin Y. Dimayacyac of RTC Branch 42, Pinamalayan. The operation led to the arrest of a 51-year-old suspect, who was found in possession of illegal drugs, unregistered firearms, and ammunition.
