𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐀 𝐌𝐏𝐒 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞: Arrest of Other Wanted Person for Violation of Sec. 90 of RA 8550 otherwise known as “The Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998”

Tiguihan , Pola, Oriental Mindoro—The Pola Municipal Police Station, under the leadership of PMAJ FLORANTE M SUGIAN II, ACOP, successfully apprehended an individual wanted for Violation of Sec. 90 of RA 8550 otherwise known as “The Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998” on Friday, November 22, 2024.

The arrest took place at 4:00 PM during operation conducted in collaboration with the

Tracker Team of CIDG Oriental Mindoro PFU (lead unit) led by PMAJ JOSEPH N SEVERINO. The operation resulted in the capture of the accused in line with a Warrant of Arrest issued by HON. JOSE MICHAEL D MASANGKAY, Presiding Judge of MTC Fourth Judicial Region, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro dated June 15, 2020.

The suspect, charged with Violation of Sec. 90 of RA 8550 otherwise known as “The Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998” under Criminal Case No. 6320 was taken into custody without indicated recommended bail amount on the warrant of arrest. The arrested person was now under the custody of CIDG OrMin PFU for documentation and proper disposition
