On October 24, 2024, at approximately 8:30 AM, despite the adverse weather conditions, the Ad Hoc Committee, chaired by Pola Municipal Mayor, Hon. Jennifer M. Cruz, convened for the initial screening and evaluation of 19 applicants for the Calendar Year 2024 Patrolman/Patrolwoman Attrition Recruitment Program. The screening, held at the Conference Hall of the Municipal Building in Barangay Bayanan, Pola, Oriental Mindoro, included 7 female and 12 male candidates.

Pola MPS administrative personnel efficiently facilitated the screening process, ensuring that the activity proceeded smoothly and without delay, despite the challenges posed by the weather.

In a statement, PMAJ FLORANTE M SUGIAN, Chief of Police of Pola MPS, emphasized the station’s commitment to developing local talent. “We are deeply committed to producing quality police officers from the Municipality of Pola, ensuring that our local community is well-represented in the police force. This recruitment process is a crucial step toward achieving that goal.“

The screening concluded at around 12:15 PM on the same day. A formal resolution will be issued once it has been duly signed by the committee. The applicants who pass this phase will proceed to the final evaluation and the remaining stages of the recruitment process, to be conducted at the Regional Headquarters in Calapan City.

Successful candidates are expected to take their oath tentatively on December 12, 2024.
