On October 23, 2024, personnel of Pola Municipal Police Station led by PMAJ FLORANTE M SUGIAN II, ACOP, conducted crucial operations in response to the ongoing threat of Tropical Depression “Kristine.”
At 1:30 PM, Pola MPS initiated a road clearing operation in Brgy. Calubasanhon to ensure public safety and maintain accessibility in case of emergencies. Following this, at 1:50 PM, the team proceeded to Brgy. Pula to monitor water levels in flood-prone areas and inspect the flood marker for potential hazards. These efforts are part of the station’s ongoing commitment to disaster preparedness and community safety.
In a statement, PMAJ SUGIAN emphasized the importance of readiness: “As we face Tropical Depression ‘Kristine,’ our priority is to safeguard the community by ensuring roads remain passable and monitoring flood-prone areas closely.
